Tech Video: Tiberius 8 Disassembly
Aaron from Modern Intel shows us how to disassemble, clean and maintain a Tiberius 8. This video also applies to the Tiberius T9s. Feel free to pause the video at any time and follow along while disassembling your own.
Oiling Locations
Due to the 10 minute limit on Youtube videos we could not get any more specific with the video, although the oiling locations are fairly straight forward.
Velocity Adjustment
The other locations to oil are the velocity adjustment screw. (you can put a couple drops right in without taking the gun apart)
Trigger Assembly
When you take apart the gun and you remove the trigger assembly, you’ll notice that all the parts inside the assembly all sit on small metal bars. You can go ahead and oil those too. You don’t need to take apart the trigger assembly to do this.
Bolt Valve
This is shown in the video. After taking apart what I like to call, the “back block”, you can then remove the bolt off the front of the valve. Inside the valve you will see a white o-ring, put a couple drops of oil here every once and a while
Magazines
Put a drop on the top of each mag valve every couple months to keep the mag seals lubricated.

Great disassembly video! I always have problems getting the trigger and the spring back in place when re-assembling my T-8 but now that I’ve seen your video it is much easier to do.
Thanks!

this disassembly video would work on the 8.1 as well right?

The T8.1 disassembles almost exactly like the T8 does. The exception is when you are removing the “back block”. There is no longer the 4 screws on the back to remove, only 1 larger one.
We will be adding a T8.1 disassembly video soon!

There is now a disassembly video dedicated to the Tiberius 8.1 available on our site!

[..YouTube..] Do you have any problem with hammer? Do you must do anything wit hammer when you was cleaning Tiberius? What i must do when a cut the ball in the pistol? Thx. Sorry form my english i came from Czech Republic.

[..YouTube..] @SgtPaul1 there’s really nothing to the hammer (bolt) of the T8. Just follow the disassembly video and and wipe off any paint that you find along the way. When you reassemble, oil any o-rings you see, we point out most in the video.

[..YouTube..] I took my t8 apart to clean it and when i put it back together had an air leak tried to replace all the o-rings and still leaks, plus bolt moves back and forth put spring in and barrel and wont shoot.Take barrel&spring out bold will slide and i here loud air leak any suggestions?
March 5, 2010
[..YouTube..] @btripclip where is the leak coming from, the back or inside the grip where the mag meets the receiver? Leaks can be caused by either a worn o-ring on a magazine as well. Did you remember to push the bolt forward again after disassembling the marker?

[..YouTube..] when barrel is out big air leak from bolt. I tried both clips. Barrel in with spring no shoot and no air leaks.Cleaned it like i usually do and yes i do push bolt forward. funny thing is that when i pull out barrel then squeeze trigger bolt slides forward then leaks air.

[..YouTube..] @btripclip the Tiberius markers are not designed to shoot without the barrel attached. If you try without the barrel, the bolt shoots forward and locks in the open position, which will drain all of the gas like what you are describing. Although, I’m not sure why when the barrel is in, the gun is not firing.
