Overview
The JT Flex 8 is a very common mask that you can find almost anywhere paintball gear is sold. The Flex 8 comes in Red, Green, Blue, Camo, and Black. The Flex 8 comes standard with a thermal lens to reduce fogging, a chin strap to keep the mask seated properly on your face and a sun visor to reduce glare.

The Flex 8’s thermal lens prevents fogging with rough conditions
Specifications
The JT Flex 8 is a universal mask that will fit any face size comfortably. The thermal lens is wide enough to give the paintballer a 260 degree vision allowing more of the battle field to be seen in those all important scenario games where vision is key. The Flex 8 is a mask that you can modify, for example this mask will accept the vortex II fan that will remove any humid air from behind the lens and will also blow in cool air with the flip of a switch. The JT Flex 8 is designed to increase your chances of a deflection or bounces while still protecting the face.

The Flex 8 is built tough to withstand any type of game
Materials
The Flex 8 is made of a flexible plastic that is still hard enough to keep its shape. The thermal lens frame is made of the same material that is strengthened once the lens is in place. The frame will still bend allowing you to remove the lens for cleaning with little problems.

Pros
The Flex 8 allows minor changes and upgrade to enhance the performance of the mask and thermal lens. The amount and the way the air holes are molded into the jaw, cheek, and mouth area of the mask allow good breathability and cut down on the amount of broken paintballs you get in those areas.

The mask’s vents allow plenty of air and breathability
Cons
The ends of the elastic head band on the back of the mask is a sewn over mass of material that is very hard sometimes to remove from the lens frame but also it gives you peace of mind in the knowledge that those straps won’t pop out.
Even though it has a thermal lens that is meant to reduce fogging, if your in a humid environment it still finds a way to fog up.

Assembly and disassembly requires users to fiddle with the mask’s pins
Final Verdict
The JT Flex 8 is a good mask for anybody, it’s light weight, durable, and comfortable. It might give some people problems when you completely take it apart to clean it but its not as bad as to deter anyone from buying this mask.

You’ve missed a common problem:
- Semi exposed ears and significant discomfort to ears.

Thanks for the comment, every mask will fit everyone different but Aj seemed to have no problem with it, but he does have a smaller head!
Thanks again!
