[..YouTube..] @13Reaper13xChrome yup, the same magazine is used for both regular paintballs and first strike rounds. Tiberius also includes a red spring to install in the mag if you ever plan on running first strike only.

I’ve run into the same problem. the t8.1 is out and i just got my t8. Either I’m oblivious or have bad luck. I asked my suppliers if they knew anything about tiberius coming out with new stuff but they said no. After only using it a few times, its outdated. I dont mean to sound like someone who needs only new equipment but you know as well as I do that once its outdated, they dont make any more upgrades. I was looking forward to seeing some sort of extended magazine and a double trigger type setup. It would make it similar to a glock 18 and in my opinion, more sufficient as a primary. i know you can place a hopper on it but for guys who love the milsim look, an extended mag would be better. Do you think if they ever come up with either of these that it will be able to be used on the t8 as well?

Any magazines that work on the T8.1 will be backwards compatible so far. So if Tiberius makes an extended mag for the T8.1, it is very likely that it will work with the T8 as well.
I have heard rumors or Tiberius working on an extended mag for the pistols, but it hasn’t ever become anything more than a rumor.

[..YouTube..] @ripgordie22 currently there are no aftermarket barrels for the T8.1 but Lapco has told us that they will be making barrels for the 8.1 and 9.1 so I’m sure you can expect to see a longer barrel

[..YouTube..] @lilbleezy777 it depends on the type of play you’re looking for. Playing with a T8.1 is nothing like playing with an A5 or SP1. A lot of the time I just play pistol only and it’s amazingly fun!

[..YouTube..] @PaintBguy when playing with a pistol you have to play differently than people with regular markers. If you try to just hang back and take snap shots, it won’t work out very well. Pistols are great for being aggressive, fast, and agile.

[..YouTube..] ok, so this summer im going to be working at a sports center which has a skatepark and a paintball field. im trying to decide on what marker to buy, i really want a T8.1, but the cost for the first strike “shell” is way to high, and im not sure if a pistol would be a good primary arm for a speedball field…any comments would help. thanks

[..YouTube..] alright, i love the reviews but u guys need to be a little bit tougher on your reviews as this gun is obviously not perfect it does have cons, which u even mentioned, old mags cannot be used in the new design. i love the gun and it was an awsome review but u both put 10’s and said cons N/A the mag situation alone is a big con as u then need to buy all new mags and THEY ARE NOT F***ING CHEAP

If you can’t afford it then go buy something you can afford, simple as that, just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. What do you define as real reviews, so guy talking about a gun he hasn’t used and giving it a score with no reasons why and why not?
