[..YouTube..] I can’t believe Aj con is you have to press a button to turn on an electronic gun. I gusse you never use any of this markers before an a5 or x7 with an egrip, sp1, bt-15, because you then you would known that you need to press a button to turn this milsim markers on.

[..YouTube..] Modern Intel generally gives a more milsim/scenario view on gear. To people that are into milsim, a button isn’t realistic. Real steel guns aren’t electronic. Even without the milsim view, using a button to turn the gun on is a bit of a turn off when there’s also a selector switch. The X7 Phenom combines the on/off button with the selector switch. With the TM-7 to fire the gun, it’s a two step process: turn it on, then pick your fire mode. Definitely not as streamlined as other markers.

[..YouTube..] very well said PvtDBJackson. We will be doing a video about the differences between speedball, woodsball and milsim to clear up the common mistake people make between them all. Especially between woodsball and milsim.

[..YouTube..] So, before the X-7 Phenom, and the M-Tac, there were no electropnuematic mil-sim markers (the whole ‘button’ thing). You critique the quality but, you make no comparison to other markers in the same price range. The statements about Rain, condensation, “Summer use” only, sounds a bit over the top. I’ve not seen nor had any problems with electros in the rain/cold. The paint is a bigger problem in that regard. Please do clarify as to what qualifies as Mil-Sim in your opinion.

[..YouTube..] @uvhalo we have had cases in which the TM7 and TM15 don’t turn on at all in the cold weather, making the markers useless. We will be doing a video on the differences between speedball, woodsball and scenario soon.

you know cold weather has an effect on all things run by batteries right??

yup, which is an issue when you’re running a battery operated marker. The X7 Phenom is a perfect example of how battery operated markers should be.

[..YouTube..] Ok Cool you would know better than me, I was just confused a little cause you guys mention it starts of Semi and if you pull the trigger quickly three times then thats when it goes into 3 round burst. And thats what my board set in PSP does. Oh well good job guys. Love the reviews regardless. You guys do a better job than most reviewers and the Paintball fanatics in do notice. keep it up.

[..YouTube..] @kirtybearoriginal ya the 3 round burst mode does start off in semi, but BT has called these 3 semi shots “safety shots” after these you are into “Burst Mode”, but it’s not like it matters much either way tho. Thanks!

I have owned the gun over a year, bought it when it was released. I love the gun, love the lightness of the gun (dont want to be carrying a heavy gun all day at a scenario). I have never had a problem with the slecetor switch going from one postiion to another by accident. I will agree the trigger is a little squishy feeling and the sensitivity is how much you adjust the trigger set screws. Also once you set the velocity you never need to touch it again. I am a little frustrated that after over a year they still have not released a TM rip clip, i just hope once it is released it is high tech and not the same old thing in a differant body.
    Love your reviews.

Good response. The TM7 is by no means a bad gun and I personally really wanted to like it. There are just a couple of things that are holding it back from being awesome for it’s market!

[..YouTube..] Dude, the plastic is milsim. The real H&K MP7 is built with polymer (plastic) parts to make it light.

  • ModernIntel

    March 10, 2010

[..YouTube..] the MP7 is built with polymer parts, the entire gun is not plastic. If the TM7 was made out of the magnesium like the TM15 is it wouldn’t be much of an issue.

[..YouTube..] wtf. EVERY electric milsim gun has to be turned on with a button, and also, EVERY electric gun is run by a battery.

[..YouTube..] Wondering if you could help me out a bit, when I turn the gun on without eyes and put it into semi and pull the trigger it doesn’t make a clicking sound like its working. I havnt put any paint through this yet. The light flashes green twice, pause, twice indictating the eyes are actually off. I pull the trigger, it goes red, release it goes back to green.

[..YouTube..] @ModernIntel Actually reading up it appears that the stock lube is shitty and clogs up the solenoid or something. Gonna have to take it apart and use diff lube.
