No it does not. It is for cosmetic purposes only.Barrel lengths have not shown to have any effect on accuracy in at least two, well documented and published sets of tests.

[..YouTube..] @Aido555 we have heard that more info on the T9.1 will be available in about a week. If I were you, I would at least wait to see what the T9.1 offers before getting a T9.

[..YouTube..] i own the ranger t9 and actually its a lot more accurate with the extension. i compared the barrel with out the extension & with it on, there is a tighter pattern. also the t9 has whats defined as a longbow barrel, its supposed to have different bore sizes to make it more accurate. this was originally released by titanium paintball. the ball centers itself inside the larger bore and the gas carries it out. you’d have to look up how it works. its supposed to be more accurate then normal barrels.

[..YouTube..] one thing i should add to that, you said you think they should make a clip extension, if i were you id get the special ops longbow magazine tube. (not related to longbow barrels at all). its a 20 round tube that attaches to the side of the gun and spring loads balls into the hole where you would mount the hopper, then you can twist the barrel into the magazine position and shot your 8 rounds out of the magazine. a snipers dream clip.

How did you do your analysis?The Tiberius barrel has nothing to do with “Titanium Paintball”. It has what is called a stepped bore a common feature of nearly every 2-piece barrel in existence. However, most 2-piece barrels (to include the longbow) make use of porting, which the TA does not.Neither porting or, stepped bores have PROVEN to improve accuracy in multiple indep. tests.

[..YouTube..] The reason the barrel pops out so easy is to make it easier and quicker to clear the barrel waist in game, but like you said it dose pop out at the wrong time. Also the T9 was a sort of a prototype to the now popular T4. There is an extended magazine mod for the Tiberius 8 or T9 magazines that ups the capacity from 8 to 17, Makes the pistols look like automatic pistols.

[..YouTube..] @adudesproduction the quick-release barrel is a good idea but if you’ve ever used a T8.1, it locks the barrel when a magazine is inserted, which is just what the T9 needs. The extended mags are not available anymore, they we made by SpecOps

[..YouTube..] The Way I use my T9 Elite is with hopper and mags. Each Mag gives 24 shots and I feel it adds a little to the realism (i mean its not like a RAP4 but still its pretty Cool. And 24 rounds between mag change is pretty decent. But I cannot stress enough to get extra mags (have at least 3). Keep up the good work Modern Intel
