Up until now we've had a pretty small group of mag-fed paintball marker companies, but very soon Spyder (Kingman) looks to be joining the ranks with their new Mag-fed MRX marker. To start off, this marker looks to be marketed towards moreso a beginner in mag-fed with it's price point of approximately $230 USD. This price point in coincidentally (or not) just below the cost of a base-model MILSIG or Rap4 mag-fed product which could make the MRX the lowest-price mag-fed rifle on the market.
Some basic specs of the MRX:
- runs on Co2 or HPA
- 10 round magazines
- not first strike compatible
- "DLS" system allows on-the-fly switching between mag-fed and hopper-fed
We haven't had a chance to get our hands on it but the MRX is planned for a release in early January so we can test it out to see if it's the lower-cost mag-fed we've all been waiting for.
Stay tuned for more information on the Spyder MRX!
