Looking at picking up one of these vests. Before I do was just wondering if anyone has tried it before (and liked it) and if anyone has used opsgear before I was wondering how there shipping was like and if you have to pay a duty on their stuff (to Canada).

I personally haven't tried one of these vests but I do know you will need to pay customs to ship it into Canada.

The joys of being a Canadian I guess :/

Maybe I will try to review it then once I get the money for it (hopefully I can find a dealer in Canada by then). Was looking at some of the Condor vests which basically look similair but I am interested in the water reservoir but don't know if it will help or just be a hinderance when playing.

Well you can always take a look at the Condor Hydration Vest and get a hydration badder for it. That way you can put the bladder in the vest when you need it and take it out when you don't.

Ya, I had seen that the other day and considered it an option. I believe the delta 5 also has the option to remove the reservoir too, my only concern would be after a while the water would I assume get hot/warm.

I'll probably end up buying that vest you showed if I can't find someone in Canada who can get this delta 5 vest.

EDIT : I emailed opsgear asking if they knew how much duty would cost to bring the equipment I wanted into Canada :

"We do not know what the fees would be. You would need to contact your
local customs office to see if they have it listed."

I can't wait to order and duty will be like the same cost :/
