Exalt TRX Cleats - Written Review

Back in high school I had a set of Nike Shark Cleats and used them for a season of football. Of course being Nike's they were very comfortable and ripped up the turf. Since then I have traded my single purpose lawn shredders for a good pair of combat boots or a set of hiking boots.

So when the TRX cleats came across my desk I figured I would see what they might be able to add to bring cleats back to my gear bag.

A look at the Mag-Fed Spyder MRX (Pictures & Video)

Up until now we've had a pretty small group of mag-fed paintball marker companies, but very soon Spyder (Kingman) looks to be joining the ranks with their new Mag-fed MRX marker. To start off, this marker looks to be marketed towards moreso a beginner in mag-fed with it's price point of approximately $230 USD. This price point in coincidentally (or not) just below the cost of a base-model MILSIG or Rap4 mag-fed product which could make the MRX the lowest-price mag-fed rifle on the market.

Some basic specs of the MRX:

• runs on Co2 or HPA
• 10 round magazines
• not first strike compatible
• "DLS" system allows on-the-fly switching between mag-fed and hopper-fed 

We haven't had a chance to get our hands on it but the MRX is planned for a release in early January so we can test it out to see if it's the lower-cost mag-fed we've all been waiting for.

The Rap4 Lok-Bolt System Premier Video

Today Rap4 released a brand new video to all of us in the paintball world explaining how their new Lok-Bolt system works in action by giving us a real scenario test of shooting.

In a nutshell, the Lok-bolt system will be a drop-in kit for the T68, and Tacamo mag-kits that prevents the bolt from firing unless a paintball has been properly seated. This also means that when your mag is out of rounds the marker will not fire, for us MILSIM players using 13ci tanks it means more overall shots per-tank because no blank shots will be fired.
